Membership
In the spring and summer, the Fort Bend Teen Service League conducts informational meetings for prospective members to highlight and discuss the different aspects of FBTSL. All teens entering 9th grade-12th grade are invited to attend one of these informational meetings. In August, FBTSL hosts a welcome luncheon, held most recently at Sweetwater Country Club in Sugar Land, for its new members before the beginning of each league year.
The response to Fort Bend Junior Service League's latest project was overwhelming with over 80 young women joining the Teen League its first year. This number is growing each year. Over the next few months, the Teen League members will dedicate countless volunteer hours in the community to making a difference in the lives of many people in Fort Bend County. The Teen board members and returning FBTSL members are looking forward to welcoming many new members for the 2010-2011 year. Together, this incredible group of young women will continue to carry out the mission of the Teen League.
