The Fort Bend Junior Service League (FBJSL) and Fort Bend Teen Service League (FBTSL) are excited to announce Methodist Sugar Land Hospital as the presenting sponsor of FBTSL's premier fundraising event, Glitter & Gloss a day of fun and fashion for girls.

The event, with a theme of Red Carpet Rendezvous, will be held on April 2, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at The Honor Roll School in Sugar Land and will include pampering, paparazzi, spa parties, shopping and two runway-style fashion shows.

FBJSL and FBTSL are actively recruiting sponsors to join Methodist Sugar Land Hospital in presenting this fun event. Sponsorships and underwriting opportunities are available from $250 to $5000. The event will also feature "glam stations," health and wellness, beauty, style, pampering and spa-themed booths staffed by local vendors.

Proceeds from this event will benefit FBJSL's Community Assistance Fund (CAF). The CAF allows FBJSL to extend financial support in the community by providing multiple smaller grants to a greater number of charitable causes in Fort Bend County. Past recipients of CAF funds include DeWalt Heritage Center, East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry, First Colony Dream League, Fort Bend Lawyers Care, Fort Bend County Museum Association, FUMC Lunches of Love, Keep Sugar Land Beautiful, and Second Mile Mission.
